Beginning with the 44 Fall 2016 NFPA Standards, paper submissions will no longer be accepted. "Cadillac Fire Marshal Anthony Wolff said the fire started in a wall of the bedroom. A section of knob and tube wiring failed, causing a small fire in the walls.
The fire went undetected, and flames spread to the wall and ceiling cavities. The homeowner returned and noticed smoke, which set off smoke detectors."
